Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial start in Manchester United predicted line-up vs Wolves

Manchester United will be looking to record their third successive Premier League victory when they face Wolves at Molineux on Saturday afternoon.

Erik ten Hag 's side secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest on Tuesday, with Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Fred all on the scoresheet for the Reds. The away side did have a goal ruled out for offside, but the newly-promoted outfit ultimately struggled to create many opportunities against United.

The Reds currently find themselves in fifth position in the Premier League table, but can move above Tottenham Hotspur and into the top four with a victory over Wolves. Spurs, who lead Ten Hag's side by one point, play a day after United, hosting Aston Villa.

Ten Hag has been boosted by the returns of Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane after their respective World Cup campaigns, with the latter starting for United in the victory over Nottingham Forest.

David de Gea, who was rested for the recent Carabao Cup triumph over Burnley, started in the win over Steve Cooper's side on Tuesday and is almost certain to retain his spot against Wolves. The shot-stopper - who was not included in Spain's World Cup squad - has featured in every single Premier League match this season.

First-choice right-back Diogo Dalot has recently been sidelined with a hamstring injury, meaning Aaron Wan-Bissaka is likely to retain his place in the side for the trip to Wolves on Saturday, despite the former returning to training on Friday. The Englishman was solid against Forest and is still fighting for his United future. Meanwhile, Tyrell Malacia, who started at left-back on Tuesday, could drop out for Luke Shaw, who played at centre-back alongside Varane.

Harry Maguire was the only senior centre-back on the bench against Cooper's men, but even he was struggling with illness. Ten Hag could opt to start Victor Lindelof alongside Varane at the heart of defence should the Swede recover from illness. Despite returning to training following Argentina's World Cup triumph, Lisandro Martinez might have to settle for a place among the substitutes.

In midfield, the first-choice trio of Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes are all expected to start against Wolves. The Brazilian was named man of the match against Forest, while Fernandes and Eriksen both delivered strong showings alongside him. While Fred did well off the bench - grabbing the third and final goal against Forest - he is unlikely to play in place of the three midfielders currently ahead of him in the pecking order.

Rashford and Martial were both on the scoresheet against Forest on Tuesday night, and while Antony endured somewhat of a frustrating evening, the three forwards are all set to retain their places. Alejandro Garnacho will likely have to settle for a place on the bench.

Predicted line-up vs Wolves: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Lindelof, Shaw; Casemiro, Fernandes, Eriksen; Antony, Martial, Rashford.
