Rape-accused British YouTuber and musician Yung Filly has admitted reckless driving while on bail for sexual assault charges.

Filly, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, returned to a media-packed Perth Magistrates Court for a brief appearance on Thursday.

The 29-year-old London rapper, who is accused of sexually assaulting and choking a woman in her 20s, was granted a bail variation request and will now report to a police station in Mandurah, about 70km south of the West Australian capital.

Dressed in a white T-shirt and blue jeans, Barrientos didn't answer the large media pack's questions outside court as he strode to a waiting dark-coloured chauffer-driven van while a small group of teen fans watched on.

His brief court appearance was interrupted by a power outage that led to the court building being closed for about 30 minutes.

The entertainer was arrested in Brisbane and extradited to Perth, where he made his first court appearance in October for a slew of charges related to the alleged assault.

These include four counts of sexual penetration without consent and three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm following a performance in September.

He is also accused of impeding the woman's breathing or circulation by applying pressure to her neck.

Barrientos was caught on a speed camera in Perth's eastern suburbs in late November allegedly driving at 158km/h in a 100km/h zone while on bail.

Police impounded Filly's vehicle.

His lawyer Joanne Oliver told the court on Thursday Barrientos would  plead guilty when the reckless driving charge returned to court on January 30.

His other charges will also be mentioned on that date.

Barrientos, who has 1.8 million YouTube subscribers and millions of Instagram and TikTok followers, has not entered pleas to those charges and could be forced to remain in WA for several years while he awaits trial.

His strict bail conditions include surrendering his passport and supplying a $100,000 security.

He was previously required to report to police daily but Deputy Magistrate Elizabeth Woods changed that to three times per week, which was not opposed by the prosecutor.

Barrientos's Wikipedia page says he was born in Colombia.

He started his YouTube career in 2013 and music career in 2017.

He has also appeared on numerous television shows, including BBC's Hot Property, which he hosted in 2018.
