Ranvir Singh has spoken out to say how 'super happy' she is for her replacement on Good Morning Britain.
While she is often seen in the main studio of the ITV breakfast show, regularly deputising as a main presenter, Ranvir used to be the programme's political correspondent broadcasting live from Downing Street to keep viewers abreast of major political stories.
Last month, it was claimed that Ranvir had decided to permanently quit the role, having recently hosted a hard-hitting Ghislaine Maxwell documentary for the channel, when she bravely shared her own experience of sexual abuse with one of Jeffrey Epstein's victims.
The Sun reported that Ranvir has stood down from the political position after growing tired of the early starts.

A source said: "Ranvir is ready for a new challenge at Good Morning Britain and she wants a bigger role within the team. She quietly stepped down as the political editor of the show in anticipation of having a more substantial part to play."
And now Louisa James has been confirmed as GMB's new political correspondent, in news confirmed by Anne Alexander, senior political producer on the show. She tweeted: "Delighted that @LouisaJamesITV is joining Good Morning Britain’s politics team as Political Correspondent, taking over from @ranvir01.
"She’s experienced, hard working and obsessed with politics. Think she’ll do well with me and @kieronishere. Welcome to the (mad) House Louisa."
Ranvir voiced her opinion by replying Anne's tweet and writing: "Super happy about this."
Among the many others to offer her congratulations to Louisa was GMB presenter Charlotte Hawkins, who reacted: "Great news - congratulations Louisa!!"
The show's former director Erron Gordon, who is now working with Piers Morgan again on his new show Uncensored, also responded to the announcement, writing: "VERY well deserved! Congratulations @LouisaJamesITV ou’ll smash it!"
