Ranvir Singh returns to live TV after being pulled off air earlier this week

Ranvir Singh has returned to live TV today after being pulled off air earlier this week.

The Good Morning Britain presenter was taken off air midway through the show earlier this week as she was suffering with her health, but she has since made a return to ITV today and is standing in for Lorraine Kelly on her mid-morning show.

Ranvir wowed in a pink dress as she stepped in for Lorraine today, making her return to TV for the first time since she was forced off air when her Good Morning Britain co-star Richard Madeley pointed out she looked unwell.

Starting the show today, Ranvir told viewers what they could expect from the show today, and she looked incredibly well as she was joined in the studio by Dr Amir Khan and other guests.

She didn't mention her hay fever straight away, but later on Dr Amir gave her some helpful tips on how to limit the effects of her hay fever. They also discussed the options available to hay fever sufferers both on the NHS and privately.

Yesterday, Ranvir broke her silence on her diagnosis, insisting she was doing much better.

"Thanks for all the guidance on my streaming sore eyes this week," she wrote on Twitter, "It was an allergic reaction to something more than tree pollen as the skin around my eyes has gone paper thin and sore.

"Anyway I’ll be hosting @lorraine tomorrow and for all of next week - sorry for my face!"

Before she was pulled off air earlier this week, Ranvir took to Twitter to ask for some medical advise amid her unusual symptoms.

Taking to Twitter, she penned online: "Anyone else got the worst most painful stinging hay-fever they’ve ever had? I can barely keep my eyes open. If there was a vaccine for this I’d sign up asap."

Richard noted her hay fever symptoms earlier in the week with Richard describing it as "the worst hay fever he's ever seen." It was then that Ranvir admitted: "I don't know what's going on. That's why I look like this today. I'm OK, thanks. Just streaming eyes."

Half an hour later, she was replaced by reporter Louisa James as Susanna Reid and Richard sent their well wishes to Ranvir.
