Ranvir Singh has quit her role as political editor on Good Morning Britain a source has confirmed.
The 44-year-old TV presenter and journalist left her political role in December but will remain as one of the regular presenters on the morning news and talk show.
Ranvir joined the ITV programme during its launch in 2014 as features correspondent.

Ranvir, who covers for main show presenter Susanna Reid when she is away, will continue hosting Good Morning Britain alongside the show’s other regular presenters including Susannna, Charlotte Hawkins, Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard.
She stepped in Lorraine Kelly's shoes on her chat show Lorraine during the summer and has also appeared as a guest presenter on ITV’s Loose Women.
And she recently hosted the recent documentary film Ghislaine, Prince Andrew and the Paedophile.
A source told The Sun : “Ranvir is ready for a new challenge at Good Morning Britain and she wants a bigger role within the team.
“She quietly stepped down as the political editor of the show in anticipation of having a more substantial part to play."
They added: "Ranvir covers for Susanna Reid when she is away and this week has stepped into her shoes during half term.
"But she wants more and the bosses at GMB are clamouring to give it to her."
In 2020 Ranvir was a contestant on the 18th series of Strictly Come Dancing.
She reached the semi-final with her professional dance partner Giovanni Pernice.
