Ranvir Singh issues brutal warning to new Strictly Come Dancing stars

Ranvir Singh told the new Strictly Come Dancing stars "your feet will bleed."

The BBC started its rollout of this year's Strictly Come Dancing competitors today after making the announcement on social media. Coronation Street stars Kym Marsh and Will Mellor are the first two dancers to be officially revealed after Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas let the news slip he was also asked.

Ranvir Singh discussed the news on Lorraine where she gave the new competitors a blunt word of warning. The presenter competed on the 2020 show where she was eliminated in week eight.

Sending her warning to the new stars, Ranvir said: "Good luck. You need to start getting to the gym. Make sure that your body is ready because oh my goodness you're not prepared for what is about to happen."

She added: Your feet will bleed. Your feet will bleed." Fellow presenter Andi Peters was in the studio at the time and shared his surprise at the blunt advice.

Ranvir doubled down by saying it's the truth and competitors should know that before rehearsals begin. The next series of Strictly is set to return to its roots as it will remove the glass panels between judges and invite in a live studio audience for the first time in over two years.
