Each week this season we have been ranking quarterbacks around the NFL based on different stats. This time we chose EPA/play, which provides a pretty eye-opening number for Seahawks QB Geno Smith. He ranks No. 21 in this stat, one spot above checkdown artist Derek Carr and one below the ghost of Ryan Tannehill. While Smith certainly deserves some of the blame for the poor number, one need only look at the name at the top of the list to see how much playcalling impacts this stuff.
