Now? It’s time for a few weeks of free-agent madness.
As we did last year, we’re ranking the top 20 free agents available when NBA teams are allowed to negotiate starting at Aug. 2, 6 p.m. ET. Overall, it’s not the top-heaviest of free-agent classes, with fewer superstars available (and those who are might re-sign with the teams they played for last year). But there’s always the possibility some unhappy stars might get dealt, and of course they won’t be listed here.
