Ranking football's 50 best dribblers with FM22 including Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe

The 50 best dribblers in world football have been ranked, according to the extensive Football Manager 2022 database.

The Football Manager video game series from Sports Interactive is renowned for its vast and accurate database, with over 800,000 players and staff included in FM22. Dubbed the most realistic football simulator currently available, Football Manager is used by masses of clubs for scouting and recruitment in the real world, and using the database, Mirror Football found the best dribblers from around the globe.

As expected, the likes of Paris Saint Germain's Lionel Messi and Neymar rank highly on the list, but an abundance of Premier League talent are also included, with players from Man City, Man United and Newcastle all featuring.

Dribbling is one of the most entertaining aspects to watch in football. Be it the close controlled, slaloming runs of Messi, the powerful runs of Adama Traore or the skilful, shoulder dropping runs from Neymar, each dribble is different but there's one aspect that links them all, it's sure to get the crowd on their feet.

So, who are the best dribblers currently in world football? To find out, we used FM22 to rank the top 50 dribblers in the world.

To get this data, we dove into the Football Manager 2022 editor to find the 50 best dribblers in the entire FM22 database.

The dribbling attribute is rated out of 20 on FM, and in the case of players sharing the same dribbling ability, we've ordered them by their current overall ability (CA).

Messi and Neymar both lead the way with a dribbling rating of 20 out of 20, whilst Real Madrid's Eden Hazard, Newcastle's Allan Saint-Maximin and FC Porto's Luis Diaz make up the top five, with the trio's dribbling ranked at 19 out of 20.
