After winning 11 games this past season (including a victory over each of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, and Cincinnati Bengals) and making the playoffs, the Cleveland Browns are set to face a tough, tough schedule in 2024.
Strength of schedule is traditionally based on what position a team ends up in at the end of the season. For head coach Kevin Stefanski and his Browns, who finished with a second-place finish in the AFC North, this means they will face a tougher schedule this next season. Their list of opponents and where they will play next season has already been released as we wait for the full schedule release.
The Browns will play the NFC East and the AFC West opponents next season, with select opponents elsewhere as well. It does not help that the Browns play in the AFC North, which was the toughest division in football this past season.
Just how tough of a schedule will the Browns see in 2024, however?
Here is every team ranked by their strength of schedule in 2024 (and the combined record of their future opponents in 2023). This is based on their combined opponents’ records during the 2023 season according to Pro Football researcher Ivan Urena.
