Ranking all 32 NFL teams (including the Broncos) by playoff probability

With two games remaining, the Denver Broncos are 7-8 and outside the playoff picture in the AFC. The Broncos could hypothetically still make the NFL playoffs with a 9-8 record, but it would require some help from other teams.

Denver has two possible routes to the playoffs. The first would be to win the AFC West. For that to happen, the Broncos would need to win out and the Kansas City Chiefs would need to lose out.

The second path would be as a Wild Card team. Denver would need to win out and have a lot of other results go its way to get in as a Wild Card seed.

ESPN has given the Broncos a 4.1% chance to make the NFL playoffs, behind 11 other teams in the AFC (seven teams will get in). So Denver has a lot of ground to make up over the next two weeks.

Below is a look at the playoff chances for all 32 teams, with playoff percentages provided by ESPN’s NFL Football Power Index.
