Ralf Rangnick spoke with Anthony Martial, Amad and Donny van de Beek before they left Manchester United on loan for the remainder of the season.
Martial completed a move to second-place La Liga side Sevilla days after his key cameo in United's late win over West Ham and Amad secured a loan to Rangers, where he scored on his debut against Ross County.
Van de Beek ended a chastening 17 months with United by joining Everton on deadline day shortly after the club installed Frank Lampard as their new manager.
All three players are on long-term contracts at United and Rangnick hopes they return to the club after productive spells elsewhere.
"As I said earlier on, I thought the group was slightly too big, we had too many players and players not seeing the chance to get regular playing time, this is why I'm happy not only for the club and ourselves but for the players. Donny, Anthony, and Amad deserve to get regular game time and I wish them all the very best.
"I was in contact with all three players. Amad has already played and scored in his first game and I'm pretty sure that Anthony and Donny will do well at Sevilla and Everton and hopefully come back in the summer in good form."
Martial only started four times for United this season and Rangnick claimed he had declined the chance to be selected in the squad for the 2-2 draw at Aston Villa last month.
Van de Beek also started four times in his second season and last lined up in the Premier League in May. Amad was reduced to one start in the Champions League group stage dead-rubber against Young Boys in December.
