Queen's Park have won the race to sign Rangers winger Josh McPake on loan, according to a report.
The Spiders are set for Scottish Championship football this upcoming campaign with Owen Coyle bidding to put together a squad capable of challenging in the second tier. The Southsiders have started their Premier Sports Cup campaign off in the perfect fashion with two wins from two games. They put five past Stranraer in the opener before hitting another four against Forfar Athletic to make it a 100 per cent record in the section.
The 20-year-old has been training on his own this summer to build-up his fitness and came back to the Light Blues flying and has been on target during the pre-season friendlies. But he is set for another temporary move away from the club with Queen's Park his destination according to the Daily Record. They say he has been impressed with boss Coyle and the ambitious plans in place at the club.

He is set to join on loan for the full season as he bids to help the Championship new boys make their mark in the league following promotion via the play-offs last season.
The Rangers kid has had loans spells at Harrogate, Morecambe, Tranmere, Morton and Dundee previously.
Queen's Park face Dundee and Hamilton next week in their two remaining Premier Sports Cup matches in the section before the focus turns to league business.
They start with a tough away trip to beaten Premiership play-off finalists Inverness Caley Thistle before games with Ayr United and Partick Thistle.
