Rangers 'watch' Ivor Pandur as Michael Beale puts Fortuna Sittard loanee 'under consideration'

Rangers have watched Fortuna Sittard goalkeeper Ivor Pandur, according to a report.

The Daily Mail state the Croatia Under-21 cap, who is on loan in the Netherlands from Hellas Verona, is under consideration by Michael Beale as the Ibrox men look to add a new goalkeeper to the ranks as part of the summer rebuild.

Manchester United loanee Jack Butland, who is on loan from Crystal Palace, has been namechecked as a potential target but the same report states that while the Ibrox men have maintained contact over the English international the deal, so far, remains too expensive. Pandur, 23, has featured 29 times in the Eredivisie this season with his side currently sitting 12th in the standings.

Robby McCrorie has also been staking his claim for the No1 jersey next season and has kept back to back clean sheets against Aberdeen and Celtic. The 25-year-old came in for praise from his club boss for his impact in the last two games and he looks set for a run between now and the end of the season after returning from injury.

Veteran goalkeeper Allan McGregor is out of contract in the summer while Jon McLaughlin looks set to be part of the group of players who the Govan side will look to move on.

Alfredo Morelos' departure has already been confirmed with Ryan Kent looking set to follow. The likes of Scott Arfield, Steven Davis and Filip Helander are also out of contract with decisions to be made but it seems a deal for Ryan Jack is pretty much over the line with just an official announcement to come.

Todd Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin joined in January as the first two new recruits for the Beale era and they've also been liked with the liks of Dujon Sterling and Auston Trusty from Chelsea and Arsenal alongside Kieran Dowell and Morgan Whittaker.
