Rangers vs St Johnstone: TV channel, live stream, kick-off time & team news

Rangers welcome St Johnstone to Ibrox tonight (Sunday) in the Scottish Premiership

Due to The Great Scottish Run taking place in Glasgow city centre on Sunday afternoon, the match in Govan will kick off at 8pm.

Philippe Clement and his players enter the match following Thursday's 4-1 defeat to Lyon in the UEFA Europa League, and will be keen to return to form in domestic competition.

St Johnstone, on the other hand, line up for the first time under the stewardship of new manager Simo Valakari.

Ibrox is now back at full capacity and the home support will be expecting Rangers to build on three consecutive league victories, especially with Celtic currently five points ahead in the title race.

Team news

Clement may be inclined to freshen up his squad following their European exploits against Lyon. Cyriel Dessers struggled up front last time out, which could maybe see Hamza Igamane brought in to lead the line.

Rangers are still without Danilo, Oscar Cortes, Rabbi Matondo and Ridvan Yilmaz for this match due to a variety of injury issues.

While Tom Lawrence's fitness remains a concern given he was substituted at half-time on Thursday.

In terms of St Johnstone, they will have to tackle this challenge without being able to call upon both Uche Ikpeazu and Sam McClelland.
