Rangers take on Servette in the Champions League third qualifying round this week.
Michael Beale's side host the Swiss side in the first leg at Ibrox on Wednesday night.
Rangers enter the competition in this round with a spot in the play-off - where the winners will face either PSV Eindhoven or Sturm Graz - up for grabs.
And the crucial first leg of the European clash will be shown on free-to-air TV with Sportscene providing live coverage.
A BBC statement read: "Sportscene cameras will be at Ibrox for full live coverage of the first leg of Rangers’ Euro tie against either Swiss side Servette or Genk from Belgium.
"The home leg of the tie in the Champions League third qualifying round kicks off at 7.45pm on Wednesday 9 August.
"The match will be screened live on the BBC Scotland channel, iPlayer and the BBC Scotland Sport website.
"There’ll also be clips and updates on social media channels and live coverage on BBC Radio Scotland.
"It'll be a big night at Ibrox as Rangers look to gain an advantage in the first match of their campaign to secure a Champions League spot.
"Rangers successfully negotiated a path to the group stage last year and will be looking for a positive result at Ibrox to take to either Switzerland or Belgium for the return leg the following week.
"Steven Thompson will be presenting the live coverage on the BBC Scotland Channel from 7.30 pm."
