RANGERS' Champions League fixture with Napoli is expected to get the green light to go ahead this week.
However, the match could reportedly be delayed by UEFA.
European football's governing body has made no official comment on their scheduled matches this coming midweek, with five clubs from the UK playing on home soil.
All football in Britain was cancelled this weekend following the sad passing of Her Majesty The Queen.
Rangers previously stated that as things stand their match against Napoli would go ahead as planned.
A statement read: "At this difficult time for the United Kingdom, we are cognisant of ongoing uncertainty regarding supporter arrangements and travel plans for next week.
"We are aware of policing and resource pressures, especially on Tuesday, 13th September.
"We can confirm that discussions are taking place between UEFA, Police Scotland and Rangers regarding our scheduled UEFA Champions League fixture v Napoli on Tuesday, 13th September.
"As present, the game is scheduled to take place at the scheduled date and time."
However, the Daily Record say that the Ibrox club are also preparing for potential of the tie to be pushed back 24-hours until Wednesday.
The report states that any date change will be taken after consultation between UEFA and Police Scotland.
The Serie A club are due to arrive in Glasgow on Monday afternoon.
For UK clubs travelling away from home this midweek, such as Celtic, the games are expected to be played with no issues.
The Hoops take on Shakhtar Donetsk in Poland on Wednesday, while Hearts are in Latvia against RFS.
The report goes on to state that next weekend's SPFL fixture card remains in doubt.
The Queen's funeral will take place on Monday, September 19.
It's said SPFL chiefs won’t make a final decision before taking guidance from the UK Government.
