Rangers vs Dundee Premier Sports Cup details announced but venue 'not confirmed'

The fixture details for Rangers' Premier Sports Cup tie against Dundee have been announced - but the venue for the match has not yet been confirmed.

Philippe Clement's side meet Dundee in the quarter-final stage of the competition after overcoming St Johnstone in the first knockout round last weekend.

It has now been confirmed that the match will be played on Saturday, September 21 with a 5.30pm kick-off time. The match will be broadcast live on Premier Sports 1.

However, the venue for the match has not yet been confirmed with Rangers currently playing out of Hampden for home matches as construction work continues at Ibrox.

Rangers played St Johnstone at Hampden in the previous round of the competition but it's unclear whether the quarter-final match will be played at the national stadium.

Reports earlier this week suggested Rangers could return to Ibrox next month.

A Rangers statement read: "Our Premier Sports Cup quarter-final tie with Dundee will be played on Saturday, 21 September at 5:30pm.

"The venue for this match will be confirmed in due course."
