Rangers vs Celtic B date confirmed as rescheduled youth clash to go ahead at Ibrox

The B team clash between Rangers and Celtic has been rescheduled for March 19, with the hosts to play at Ibrox for the first time.

The derby fixture was originally due to be played on December 31 but new restrictions from the Scottish Government meant fans would not have been allowed to attend.

That meant the clubs took the decision to push the Lowland League clash back and it's now been announced that it will be played later this month.

A statement announced: " Rangers can confirm the Old Firm B Team Lowland League fixture, initially scheduled for 31 December last year at Ibrox, has been rescheduled for Saturday, 19 March with a 1pm kick-off.

"Tickets and hospitality packages purchased for the initial match date remain valid – with a further sale of tickets now open to all Rangers supporters."

The Rangers B team usually play in Dumbarton but a bumper crowd is expected as the two rivals meet.

That meant the game was moved to Ibrox, the first time that the youth side will play at the 50,000-seater stadium
