Kenny Miller believes Rangers have to start signing players soon as one of their key players looks destined for the exit door.
Joe Aribo is believed to fancy a move to English Premier League side Southampton and a deal in the region of £10 million is close to being agreed for the Nigerian international who played 70 times for club and country last season. He is in the final 12 months of his contract alongside fellow attackers Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos.
The trio has all been linked with exits, as has defender Calvin Bassey, but those with deals expiring next summer could be lost at a cut-price fee. Coming into Ibrox though, only defender John Souttar has permanently arrived so far and Croatian striker Antonio Colak is due to fly into Scotland to complete a medical and then his move to the Premiership club. For ex-forward Miller, signings have to appear soon.

Speaking to Sky Sports, he knows fans are desperate to see some signing action and reckons it may provide a positive boost. Celtic have already completed five deals pushing near £20 in transfer fees and Miller reckons Light Blues supporters are aware of this.
He said: "Rangers fans would like to see bodies coming in rather than important ones going out. Hopefully, the money they get from Joe Aribo is reinvested into the team and they can strengthen.
"It's important you strengthen that starting XI or sign players who will push others on to become better. Giovanni will want to keep this group together and add to it.

"I can sense the frustration with regards to the lack of action in the transfer market, particularly when you look across the city. This is the way its judged in Glasgow. The fact Celtic have gone out and spent a lot of money, almost £18 million on four players... there's no doubt Rangers need to strengthen.
"There's always a succession plan on what's next. I am sure they are well ahead of the game and I have no doubt new signings will come in the door."
