The names are beginning to fly in thick and fast at Rangers as Michael Beale looks to make his first signing as manager.
It's been a strong start to life back at Ibrox for the Londoner who was previously assistant manager to Steven Gerrard. He's yet to taste defeat but he know much work needs to be done to his squad as they look to keep their hopes of a Premiership title tilt alive, on top of trying to win both domestic cups on offer.
There were names few and far between at the start of the transfer window, but things have started to pick up now that January is approaching its closing stages. Tom Davies of Everton has been linked but talk of his arrival have slowed down, but there's plenty more names on the lips of supporters. Here's the latest comings and goings from the blue half of Glasgow.
Todd Cantwell
This is the man expected to become Rangers' first signing. Cantwell has fallen down the pecking order at Norwich City and is poised to leave Carrow Road for a career reboot, having shown signs of becoming their next big thing during their Premier League stint in recent seasons. Reports have suggested that Cantwell has said his goodbyes at the Canaries, but boss David Wagner has remained coy.
He hasn't confirmed reports that a move to Rangers specifically is on the cards. But he has revealed to Eastern Daily Press ahead of their match with Coventry City that 'things were progressing in a positive direction' with regards Cantwell's pending exit. Fabrizio Romano has since reported that 'Rangers and Norwich are now signing contracts for Todd Cantwell deal' and it's a 'done' transfer that could be wrapped up in 48 hours.
Morgan Whittaker
There's less good news on the front of Rangers' pursuit of Swansea City winger Whittaker. The attacker lit up League One for Plymouth in the first half of the season and his Championship parent club recalled him. Beale has rejected claims from Swans boss Russell Martin that they have lodged a bid for Whittaker, but Fabrizio Romano claimed on Thursday that another offer of £1.5 million had been booted out.

Now Sky Sports have suggested that Rangers 'are miles away from the club's valuation' when it comes to what Swansea want. He scored nine goals and provided seven assists for Plymouth in the first half of the season.
Nicolas Raskin
He's been a name mentioned with Rangers for a long while but the interest in Standard Liege's attacking midfielder has risen again. Belgian reports state that talks have kicked off with the player who has been bombed to the club's 'B' team by Ronny Deila, as a new contract has not been agreed with his current terms expiring in the summer.
It's not just Rangers who are interested though. Fresh reports from Belgium claim Portuguese giants Benfica 'would be quite charmed' by Raskin although they haven't made a move for him yet. However, 'that could change in the coming days.'
Kai Kennedy
There could be a youthful exit from Rangers on the cards too. Record Sport can reveal Kennedy is set to sign for Tampa Bay Rowdies in the second tier in the USA.

Kennedy has rediscovered some of his best form on loan at Falkirk and has been a key player for manager John McGlynn, who recently said he has been 'on top of his game' for the League One promotion chasers. But it's understood there has been an approach from Tampa Bay in the USL Championship and Rangers are set to bring the 23-year-old Kennedy back and move him on to the States. Tony Weston meanwhile has completed a loan switch to Cove Rangers.
