Rangers have targeted a transfer swoop for Bayern Munich and USA international Malik Tillman, according to a report.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst has stepped up his summer recruitment drive in the past week adding Antonio Colak from PAOK and Tom Lawrence on a free transfer having already secured the pre-contract signing of John Souttar from Hearts earlier this year. The Dutchman has stated he would like to get a couple more fresh faces in the door with attacking midfielder Tillman on the wanted list, reports the Daily Mail.
The 20-year-old featured four times in the past year for the German giants but is believed to be open to joining last season's Europa League finalists with the prospect of tasting more top team action. He has two caps for the USA national team to date and started his career with Greuther Furth before joining Bayern's youth set-up. It's reported that Rangers want to bring him in on a permanent deal as they continue to boost their ranks ahead of the new campaign.
