Rangers transfer diary as Thijs Dallinga sparks Euro signing chase and Antonio Colak earns new admirer

Europa League finalists Rangers have been named as potential suitors for goal machine Thijs Dallinga.

The 21-year-old is a wanted man after netting an incredible 36 goals in all competitions last season, as Excelsior sealed a return to the Eredivisie. Dallinga's free-scoring exploits have alerted him to the likes of Lorient, Genoa and now Rangers, according to Le Sur 7 via Goal France. But a sale is not guaranteed for a player Excelsior value in excess of £3.5m.

Gio van Bronckhorst made his name in Rotterdam with Feyenoord but he will be acutely aware of a local boy done good in recent times. Rangers have been linked with a slew of strikers with talisman Alfredo Morelos entering the final 12 months of his Ibrox deal. And Dallinga fits the profile in terms of age, profile and innate ability to the find the back of the net.

Another man they are keen on is Antonio Colak but Record Sport understands a second bid is not imminent for PAOK forward.

He was the scourge of Ibrox during his Malmo days but the Croatian is a hot commodity and is expected to leave his current side this summer.

Colak could command a fee in excess of £2m and Fenerbache, according to multiple reports over the past 24 hours, appear willing to pay it.

And back to Morelos, conflicting reports emerged over Sevilla's interest level but it appears highly unlikely Anthony Martial will be sought for a permanent transfer.

The Manchester United man spent the second half of the season on loan with the La Liga side but it's understood he won't be bought on a permanent deal.
