It's been a slow start to the transfer window for Rangers and fans are desperate to see some new faces to help them build on last season's Scottish Cup success.
The Scottish Premiership title is the aim next season after losing out to Ange Postecoglou's resurgent Celtic, and the Champions League qualifiers are just around the corner with pre-season preparations well underway for Gio van Bronckhorst. John Souttar has arrived from Hearts, and has had his first day training with the club at Auchenhowie ahead of their first pre-season friendly clash with Sunderland.
Zak Lovelace has also joined the club from Millwall and is set to link up with the Colt side in the Lowland League next term. While one top prospect arrived, another has departed Ibrox with Ross Wilson officially brining the curtain down on his spell at the club by joining Aston Villa and the academy structure at Villa Park.
Record Sport revealed last week that the 16-year-old had completed his medical ahead of joining the Premier League outfit in a £350,000 deal that was thrashed out between the two clubs in order to avoid going to FIFA. The Midlands side announced that the deal had been rubber stamped on Monday.
Following the move, Wilson took to Instagram to address his move for the first time. He posted: "Delighted to sign for Aston Villa! Massive thank you to @elliottf77, @peasomac9 and @CAABase for getting the deal sorted. Honoured to be here and can’t wait to get started! #UTV"
The wait for Antonio Colak continues with PAOK with sources in Greece stating the wait could rumble on until after the club's Europa Conference League qualifiers. That means the Ibrox club could be forced to wait until just 48 hours before the start of the new season to clinch him if PAOK don’t find a replacement before kicking off on July 21.
PAOK won’t authorise his release until they have brought in another frontman to provide cover, and reports in Greece now suggest he could be the only attacking option left for Salonika boss Razvan Lucescu ahead of the season-defining clashes. First-choice striker Nelson Oliveira limped out of the training camp in Holland, with FOS suggesting the injury looked serious.
That could see a further delay for any move for Colak if the striker becomes PAOK's only striking options with less than two weeks until the first leg against Levski. Rangers fans will hope any knock doesn't prove to be serious, and allows Van Bronckhorst to ramp up his signing spree.
A name that has got Rangers fans excited is wonderkid Oscar Gloukh. The Europa League finalists have been tipped with an interest in the Maccabi Tel Aviv kid, alongside English Premier League sides.
The 18-year-old was reportedly watched by Ibrox scouts during Israel's Under-19 European Championships semi-final victory over France and he stood out head and shoulders from the pack. He continued to build on his reputation with a goal against England in the final, despite losing out on a winners medal in the showpiece.
Former Liverpool hero Martin Skrtel, who was acting as the tournament ambassador, raved about the prospect to Sport 5 following the tournament. He said: "Gluch plays with maturity and intelligence well above average at his age, and it is very difficult to stop him when he runs forward with the ball.
"A bright future awaits him. I see him fitting in one day in the Premier League and Champions League."
