Rangers squad revealed as Tillman, Matondo and Wright aim to provide a Champions League solution

Gio van Bronckhorst has some major calls to make as Rangers hope to bounce back in the Champions League group stage after a disappointing defeat in Amsterdam last week.

The Ibrox side were torn apart as Ajax battered them 4-0 on Wednesday, just four days after rivals Celtic turned them over by the same result. But with the weekend fixtures cancelled following the death of the Queen, the players have had a week to recover - and the break has given the gaffer plenty of time to mull over his squad for this evening's crunch match at home to Napoli.

A key area Rangers fans will be keeping an eye on is right wing. Scott Wright started against Ajax before being replaced by Rabbi Matondo at half time, and van Bronckhorst might look to start the summer signing this evening. Malik Tillman started more central last week, but another option the boss has is to push him out to the right as he looks to mix things up.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin missed training with the rest of the group ahead of Napoli's visit to Ibrox which looks set to hand Allan McGregor a chance to stake his claim to reclaim his place between the sticks.

But skipper James Tavernier could play a part, as he was involved in the session after van Bronckhorst revealed he was nursing a knock after coming off at half-time in the 4-0 Champions League drubbing by Ajax. Robby McCrorie was also involved in training and is an option to step up.

Alfredo Morelos will also be hoping for his chance from the start. But Antonio Colak had been in red hot form before the Old Firm and is likely to start again against Napoli despite a positive update on Alfredo Morelos.

Record Sport runs the rule over how Rangers could line up.

Predicted Ranges XI

We're predicting a number of changes to the side that started against Ajax, starting with McGregor in goal. Ben Davies could come in for James Sands at centre back and van Bronckhorst might opt for the experience of Steven Davis in midfield to try and help grind out a result. He might also be keen to shuffle things about up top and it wouldn't be a surprise to see Tillman pushed out to right wing.
