Rangers squad revealed as Ridvan Yilmaz clue decoded while 2 other sidelined stars prepare for recall

Rangers boss Michael Beale has opened the door to changes against Motherwell as he admitted he would have to "leave a couple out" at Fir Park.

The Ibrox boss is dealing with a number of concerns ahead of the showdown in Lanarkshire, with Nicolas Raskin dealing with a quad issue and missed training on Thursday, The midfielder has been called into the Belgium U21 international squad despite the injury, and it doesn't appear to be serious. Speaking about the knock this week, Beale admitted he was "touch and go" for the showdown in Lanarkshire - as he promised changes from the Scottish Cup win over Raith..

Beale said: "We’ll have to leave a couple out. With Nico we’ll see how he is. We’ll see and if there is any risk it will be a no, but at the moment it is quite promising that he will be OK." The knock could see a recall for Ryan Jack, who was rested during the cup clash.

Ridvan Yilmaz could also be set to kickstart his career with Borna Barisic set to be unavailable. Beale has revealed that Barisic is set to return home to Croatia as wife Anja prepares to give birth. That could open the door for £5million man Yilmaz to kickstart his Rangers career after battling his way back from injury to make an appearance off the bench against Raith.

The Scottish Cup cameo could hint that Beale is considering ramping up the 21-year-old's game time, but he faces a decision between the Turkey cap and Adam Devine. Following his hamstring injury, Yilmaz has not started a game since October.

Playmaker Malik Tillman has returned to training after a knock and is available for the clash. Todd Cantwell has impressed since stepping into the Rangers midfielder, so Beale face a stick of twist call between the duo.

Kemar Roofe is among the lengthy list of players set to miss out for the remainder of the campaign following a hip operation. Tom Lawrence won't be seen again until next season, while Filip Helander and Steven Davis remain sidelined. Long-term absentee Rabbi Matondo (knee) has returned to training.
