Rangers boss Gio van Bronckhorst has heralded the "biggest squad" he has had since taking the reins at Ibrox.
But the Dutchman admits he still appreciates the younger players in his squad ahead of a trip to Annan Athletic.
The likes of Alex Lowry have turned heads when given a chance by van Bronckhorst but competition for places has warmed up with the return of several players.
Aaron Ramsey is primed and ready for a Scottish Cup debut and will get significant game time as he builds up his fitness, as will Filip Helander.
The Rangers boss said: "Yes he will start. Aaron has been doing well.
“He had more team sessions in training and some minutes against Hibs. He is getting better and fresher and the rhythm is coming back so he will be starting as well.
“Filip is already training for weeks now. He has around 20 sessions with the team now so we have him on a level where he can start games.
“He will start so I am happy for Filip he can leave his injuries and the time he was off behind him.
“Leon had a scan which was very positive so the injury isn’t bad. Hopefully he can return soon to join the team in training.”
The balance between experience and youth will be important to strike with Steven Davis also eyeing a return to first team action.

Amad Diallo and Fashion Sakala are eyeing minutes in the attack and Kemar Roofe should edge out Cedric Itten as the focal point of the attack.
