Rangers squad revealed as Aaron Ramsey and Ryan Jack create midfield conundrum for Hibs clash

Rangers will be without Ryan Jack when they face Hibs on Wednesday after the midfielder was dealt yet another injury setback.

Meanwhile, Aaron Ramsey will have to wait for his full debut after Gio van Bronckhorst confirmed he isn't fit to start just yet.

The Ibrox side welcome Hibs to Glasgow as part of a full Premiership card and they know they'll have to beat Hibs to stand any chance of going top of the league tonight.

Keeping the pressure on Celtic is the focus but Rangers will have to do it with a weakened midfield as neither Jack nor Ramsey will be available from the start.

Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara claims the ball against Dundee United (SNS Group)

It could mean a recall for Glen Kamara after he scored off the bench against Hearts while Fashion Sakala could also come in after he did the same.

Gio van Bronckhorst said: "We only have one change. Ryan Jack is out because he has a problem with his ankle. He took a knock in the game against Hearts that gave him a lot of pain but it’s not a serious injury and we hope he will be back in training in the coming days.

"I don’t think he (Ramsey) is quite ready. You could see the difference when he came on but he is still building up and he is improving in training each day.

"It’s good to see the difference in only a week and the more sessions he has the more minutes he gets the closer he will get to starting a game."

Hibs meanwhile are still without Kyle Magennis and Harry Clarke while Paul Hanlon and Joe Newell are injury doubts.

Predicted Rangers XI

The only guaranteed starter in midfield, you would imagine, is Joe Aribo, as Van Bronckhorst has impressive depth in that area to call upon.

Meanwhile, Amad Diallo could step into the forward line but Sakala did more with his cameo against Hearts to merit a start.
