Rangers skipper James Tavernier fit to play vs Dundee despite injury suggestions

JAMES TAVERNIER is fit and ready to play against Dundee if needed, according to Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

There have been murmurs that the skipper is carrying a knock at present.

Some have suggested that he is playing through the pain barrier to play in matches.

But the Ibrox manager insists his star man is fine to feature against Dundee.

He said: "Tavernier is fit, he is fine. We will rotate the squad tomorrow, we need to find a balance in the load for the players with a small squad at the moment with injuries. We need to be smart."

It remains to be seen whether he will play or whether the likes of Adam Devine may get a chance to shine.
