Rangers are set to release Tony Weston and several other members of their B team.
The Light Blues are also set to let Charlie Lindsay, Lewis Mackinnon, Alex Kpapke, Kelsey Ewen, Harley Ewen and Kevin Ciubotaru depart this summer. Weston was bought from Blackpool back in 2020 but has struggled to force his way into the first-team plans at Ibrox. The 19-year-old has had loans at Patrick Thistle and Cove Rangers, where he spent the second half of this season.
Northern Ireland under-19 cap Lindsay is also on his way out and is wanted by Sunderland and Derby County. Centre half MacKinnon, former Chelsea youngster Kpapke, defenders Harley and Kelsey Ewen are also set to move on, as is Romanian full-back Ciubotaru. It comes as Michael Beale revamps his first team squad with Alfredo Morelos and Allan McGregor's departures confirmed already by the Ibrox boss while many more, like Ryan Kent, could well follow.
Meanwhile Josh McPake, who spent last season on loan at Queen's Park, could also depart. He's set to return to the club after their promotion challenge came to an end but it's unclear if Beale will decide to keep him around or look for new options as he enters the final year on his deal.
