Rangers have sent out youngster Connor Young on loan until the summer.
The 18-year-old - who joined the club from Hibs last year - has been a regular in the B team set up with seven goals in 27 outings in the Lowland League this campaign to date. But he will get the chance to step up a level as he aims to shoot East Fife into promotion contention in Scottish League Two.
Greig McDonald's side are seventh in the league table but just two points off fourth spot and four behind third. They hold a ten point advantage over bottom club Bonnyrigg Rose. The Bayview Stadium outfit have ten league games left of the current campaign with the 18-year-old set to train with his new team-mates this week ahead of the clash with Forfar.

Manager Greig McDonald told the East Fife website: “I’m really pleased to add Connor to the group for the remainder of the season. He’s really well thought of at Rangers and I’m sure he will compliment the attacking players we already have at the club”.
A short Rangers tweet read: "Connor Young has today joined @EastFifeFC on loan until the end of the season. Good luck, Connor."
Rangers B currently sit second in the Lowland League table - one point behind Spartans as the business end of the season comes in to play.
Celtic B and University of Stirling are three points behind the Light Blues with a game in hand while Tranent in fifth are just five points off the summit in what is shaping up for a blockbuster finale in Scotland's fifth tier.
