Rangers release Champions League ticket cost details with packages hitting as high as £180

Rangers fans have discovered the ticket pricing for their Champions League campaign.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men returned to the top table of European football after a stunning two-legged play-off win over Dutch giants PSV. Following a 2-2 draw at Ibrox, the sides squared off once again last week in the Netherlands with the Light Blues putting on a masterclass as Antonio Colak scored the only goal of the game to secure qualification and the riches that come with dining with Europe's elite.

The Ibrox men have since learned they will face a Battle of Britain clash with Liverpool, a reunion with Calvin Bassey and his Ajax side plus Serie A outfit Napoli. Fans have been eagerly awaiting the details to drop with the Champions League campaign getting underway next Wednesday night in Amsterdam. Prices for home tickets are based on seating within Ibrox with costs starting at £150 and rising to as high as £180 for adults.

A club statement read: "We are delighted to have reached the UEFA Champions League Group Stage for the first time in 12 years and look forward to welcoming Ajax, Liverpool FC and Napoli to Ibrox.

"This is another important moment in our club’s history as we compete in European football’s premier competition for the first time since the 2010/11 season.

"In keeping with Season Ticket pricing structures, ticket prices will be scaled for the three home Group Stage matches, based on seat locations within Ibrox.

"After the Season Ticket holders sales window has closed on September 4th, MyGers members will receive priority access to any remaining three match packages and single match tickets, subject to availability.

"We thank you for your phenomenal backing and look forward to hearing Ibrox roar for the visits of Napoli, Liverpool and Ajax in the coming weeks."

Details on the stadium ticket cost depending on section of the ground can be found on Rangers' official website.
