Rangers are reported to have sparked up their interest in St Mirren midfielder Dylan Reid again.
Prior to the teenager penning a new deal at the Buddies in 2021, Celtic, Rangers and clubs in Germany were amongst those wanting to bring Reid into their club. A new report from the Daily Record suggest Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side are keen to land him while Portuguese giants Benfica and Crystal Palace hold 'major interest' in the Scotland youth international.
It's claimed that if the Ibrox club want to tempt St Mirren into selling a prized asset, they will need a 'significant deal with future add-ons built-in.' Reid made history at Ibrox back in 2021 when then-boss Jim Goodwin threw him in to become the youngest-ever Saints player. Time was spent on loan at Queen's Park last season and any move to Govan would see him thrust into their Lowland League 'B' team for this new campaign.
