RANGERS have received a special gift from UEFA to mark the club's 150th anniversary.
The club were honoured last night with a celebratory reception by the Scotland Office to mark the club's special anniversary.
Alister Jack, Secretary of State for Scotland, has invited the Ibrox club to a special event at Dover House in Whitehall.
Former Rangers players plus staff and directors will be in attendance, including Alex McLeish.
And at the ceremony, Rangers revealed a commemorative gift the club had received from UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin.
A blue pennant was sent to the Ibrox club with the UEFA logo on it.
The message on it reads: "UEFA compliments Rangers FC on the occasion of the club's 150th anniversary.

A statement on the Rangers website reading the reception by the Scotland office said: "Rangers will this evening be honoured with a celebratory reception from the UK Government at the Scotland Office to mark the 150th anniversary of the club.
"Hosted by the Secretary of State for Scotland, The Rt Hon. Alister Jack, the event at Dover House, Whitehall will be attended by directors, staff, former players and a host of invited guests, and will be another prestigious moment in this special year for the club.
"Also in attendance will be the Scottish Cup, with the Light Blues having won football’s oldest trophy for the first time in 13 years just over a fortnight ago at Hampden when they defeated Hearts 2-0."
Gers managing director Stewart Robertson said: "We are very honoured and grateful to have been invited by the Secretary of State for Scotland to this very special event to mark the 150th anniversary of Rangers Football Club.
"I believe it speaks volumes for the contribution Rangers has made to our nation in a positive sense over these years that the club is being recognised in this manner, and we look forward to promoting the good name of Rangers even further this evening to invited guests from across the political spectrum, as well as wider society."
