Rangers have proposed an Ibrox seating extension after plans were signed off to improve disabled facilities at the stadium.
The new plans will see a total of 162 accessible spaces within the ground, but as a result, stand seating will be reduced by 1,073.
The club have now proposed to add extra rows of seating in both the Copland and Broomloan stands, which would allow for 1,800 new seats. Funding would be required for the proposal to be passed.
Disgruntled fans have repeatedly raised the issue of disabled access and seating arrangements in recent seasons and it was one of the key talking points from the Annual General Meeting last year.
And ahead of today's AGM, Herald and Times Sport exclusively revealed that a multi-million pound refurbishment of Ibrox that will provide class leading facilities for disabled supporters on a matchday had been passed.
Additional wheelchair seating will be made available when the ribbon is cut on the Blue Sky Lounge in the coming weeks as supporters - many of whom are subjected to the worst of the wind and rain from their current position in front of the Enclosures - are given some of the best views in the house for the first months of the Michael Beale era.
