The Ibrox club are due to face either Bodo/Glimt or Fenerbahce in a two-legged tie after FC Twente and Anderlecht were knocked out tonight.
Bodo/Glimt sealed a sensational win at the Aspmyra Stadion after trailing 2-1 on aggregate after the first leg.
Three stoppage time goals saw the match go to extra-time after Celtic loanee Gustaf Lagerbielke gave away a penalty in the second half.
It was the Norwegians who ultimately triumphed in a crazy game after scoring twice in extra-time to progress 6-4 on aggregate.

Elsewhere, Turkish giants Fenerbahce, led by Jose Mourinho, defeated Anderlecht 5-2 across the two legs after an eventful 2-2 draw in Brussels on the night.
The match was briefly suspended due to crowd trouble after Youssef En-Nesyri scored for Fenerbahce in the fourth minute.
Rangers will discover their opponents in the Europa League last 16 draw on Friday, February 21.
