Michael Beale picked up that first all important win as Rangers boss as his side bounced back from falling behind TWICE at Ibrox.
The Light Blues kicked off a new era following the sacking of Giovanni van Bronckhorst in the worst possible fashion as Ryan Porteous headed home from a corner after poor defensive work from the home side. Set pieces have been an issue this season and once again they were punished. Not long later the home side levelled after a stunning low drive from Fashion Sakala but they remarkably found themselves trailing less than a minute later as Kevin Nisbet capitalised on another piece of poor defending to fire beyond Allan McGregor. Josh Campbell was then inches away from a third for Lee Johnson's side in a solid 45 minutes from the visitors.
The second half was better for Beale and Co with Ryan Jack poking home from close range following a Malik Tillman flick before the USA international showed great skill to allow Alfredo Morelos the simple task of tapping home to complete the turnaround. A big win both for the new manager and in terms of the title race as the home side cut the gap on league leaders and Old Firm rivals Celtic to six points ahead of their trip to Pittodrie to face Aberdeen this weekend. Here's how we rated the Rangers players on the big return following the World Cup shutdown.

Allan McGregor - 5
Stranded on his line for Ryan Porteous opener from corner. Kevin Nisbet left him with no chance. Huge save from Elie Youan just before the break. Quiet night otherwise.
James Tavernier - 6
A more advanced role in the Beale era. Poor clearance from Hibs kick-off in build-up to second goal. Brilliant pass for Tillman in build-up to third goal.
James Sands - 5
Caught cold for Kevin Nisbet's goal with the striker running through the heart of the Rangers backline.
John Lundstram - 4
Looked lost at opener. Second goal came from another piece of poor defending, Looked uncomfortable in the role.
Adam Devine - 6
Huge opportunity with Borna Barisic and Ridvan Yilmaz out of this one. Did well and will hope for more chances in the future.
Glen Kamara - 5
Good chance he will be a key player in this new era. Willing runner and always looking for ball. Has had better games.
Ryan Jack - 6
Grew into the game as it went on and popped up with a crucial leveller from close-range.
Malik Tillman - 7
Quiet first half but burst into life in the second. Flick on at near post for Rangers' second leveller of the night before excellent work to set Morelos up for the third. Stepped up when it mattered.
Ryan Kent - 6
Some rare moments of skill. Needs to produce more often and start to add more goals and assists. Fans will hope Beale's return will see return to his very best.
Fashion JR - 6
Excellent drilled finish to beat David Marshall. Rangers' biggest threat for a long period. Denied a second from point blank range.
Alfredo Morelos - 6
Big chance up top with Antonio Colak not in the squad. Scored crucial third with simple tap in. A fresh start for striker.
