Rangers player ratings v Hearts as Kent shows he can be real deal while Lundstram channels Gerrard

Rangers have strolled to an impressive 4-0 win over Hearts at Tynecastle as they go top of the league.

Antonio Colak made it 10 and 11 goals for the season inside 30 devastating minutes against the side third in the Premiership. First he glanced an excellent header beyond Craig Gordon following a Scott Arfield cross and doubled Rangers' lead by finishing off an excellent team goal.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men were criticised for their performances in September but this was an emphatic return to form away at one of the division's top teams. Hearts' Cammy Devlin all but ended the game as a contest with a crazy challenge on Rabbi Matondo to cap off a dismal 45 minutes for his team. Rangers now sit top of the league ahead of Celtic taking on Motherwell later on Saturday after Alfredo Morelos came off the bench to finish off scoring with a fine low strike on top of an excellent Ryan Kent effort. Here is how we rated the Rangers players.

Allan McGregor - 6

Next to nothing to do all game as his side took full control. Given the nod again by his boss and looks to be number one.

James Tavernier - 7

A positive influence down the right-hand side and didn't have to worry too much defensively. Nice assist for Morelos.

Connor Goldson - 8

Even before the red card, Hearts' attacking line-up got as far as the 18-yard box before hitting Goldson. Won all of his battles.

Ben Davies - 6

Subbed at half-time on his first piece of action since mid-August. Looked comfortable while on the park.

Borna Barisic - 6

Humphrys proved a tricky character on the right and got the better of him on a couple of occasions, but eventually the Croatian took control.

John Lundstram - 8

A Rolls Royce display. Outstanding pass from his own half for Colak's second goal that former manager Steven Gerrard would have been proud of, covering every blade of grass.

Ryan Jack - 6

Subbed at half-time after some midweek involvement for Scotland. Came under no real threat and steadied the ship in front of the back four.

Scott Arfield - 7

Denied a goal for an alleged foul on Craig Gordon but didn't appear to do anything wrong. A non-stop shift.

Ryan Kent - 8

A great goal scored right at the death and a fine assist in the first half. This is the Kent Rangers fans want to see all the time.

Rabbi Matondo - 7

Crunched by Devlin and is fortunate not to have sustained a more serious injury. Couple of nice bursts down the line and teed up Colak for his second.

Antonio Colak - 9

Not only did he get two goals, the Croatian's link-up and hold-up play was amongst the best he's produced since coming to Ibrox. Looks the real deal.

James Sands - 6

Came on for Davies and dealt with the little threat Hearts were posing of him and Goldson.

Steven Davis - 6

A calming influence in the second half after coming off the bench. Ticked the game over nicely although not under much pressure.

Alfredo Morelos - 7

A gauntlet has been thrown down to the Colombian by Colak and he responded with a customary goal against the Jambos.

Fashion Sakala - 3

The Zambian made a late cameo and seemed keen to get forward at every chance.

Malik Tillman - 3

Another late sub but not enough time to make a sustained impact.
