Rangers player ratings as irresistible John Lundstram sends his side to Seville with heroics at both ends

A sensational European run for Rangers just got even better.

Another epic instalment of their Thursday night adventure saw them turn over RB Leipzig 3-1, with James Tavernier and Glen Kamara striking to race into an early lead.

Christopher Nkunku struck back for the Saxony side and for a time it looked they could bring the fairytale to an abrupt end.

But the Europa League had more magic in store as John Lundstram smashed his side to the Seville final with 10 minutes remaining.

Here's how the heroes in Light Blue rated.

Another towering performance from a player who won’t be fazed. Numerous key interceptions in the air and on deck. Booked for first half tug.

BORNA BARISIC 6

Covered plenty of ground as he played part in a monumental evening. Booked for stupid tackle 20 yards out right on half time but Gers escaped from free kick.

SCOTT WRIGHT 7

Out wide after struggling through middle in Leipzig and linked well with Tavernier, helping pin Angelino back. Thrived on big occasion before being subbed on 58 minutes.

JOE ARIBO 6

Led line and held ball up well, occupying Leipzig defence. Missed sitter for 3-0 when he swiped over from four yards but game ended early by blow to face.

RYAN KENT 9

The man Gers fans hoped would have the key to unlock Leipzig and with his first drive into box delivered the perfect ball for Tavernier’s opener before deep cross teed up Lundstram’s winner.
