Rangers are planning to make a tribute to their departing stars this evening at Ibrox.
Alfredo Morelos, Allan McGregor, Ryan Kent, Scott Arfield and Filip Helander will all be at Ibrox as Light Blues players for the final time tonight when they host Hearts on Premiership business. A second-placed finish and no trophies means it is not the glamorous ending any of them would have wanted but all have played their part in title wins and a run to last year's Europa League final.
They will exit once their contracts expire in the summer and now Rangers have urged fans going to this evening's game in Govan to stay behind after the full-time whistle so a leaving celebration can be had for the players. A short statement from the club reads: "Please stay in your seats at Full-Time tonight at Ibrox as we pay tribute to the departing Allan McGregor, Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent, Scott Arfield and Filip Helander."
Kent and Morelos leave as free agents, having once been touted as players who could bag Rangers millions. Arfield, McGregor and Helander meanwhile spell an exodus of experience from manager Michael Beale's dressing room.
