Nicolas Raskin was pleased to silence the Celtic Park crowd early doors after he scored Rangers’ opener just four minutes into the latest Old Firm derby.
The Belgian, who put in a man of the match performance, was a live-wire within the Rangers midfield throughout the Scottish Premiership encounter, and also provided an assist for Mohamed Diomande to net his team’s second goal.
There were a few nervy moments in the second half as Celtic pegged the scoreline back to 2-2, courtesy of Daizen Maeda and Reo Hatate.
But Rangers never gave up, and substitute Hamza Igamane produced when called upon to score the winner on 88 minutes, sparking mad scenes in the away end.
Reflecting on Rangers’ first win on enemy territory since October 2020, Raskin told Sky Sports: "It was amazing to make the stadium a bit calmer. I'm just happy for the win.

"The gaffer just wanted us to go aggressive and to put the pressure on. I think the team has done very well, so it was really good. We wanted to be high up the pitch and we score three goals."
Rangers captain James Tavernier then chimed in to hail his team's character since Barry Ferguson took charge last month.
He added: "We had a really good first half and then obviously we sat off a bit too much in the second half and that brought them back into the game. But we showed character throughout the match and Hamza comes up with the winner. It's been a good week for the club. I'm delighted for the boys."
