PREMIERSHIP clubs are reportedly set for emergency talks next week in a latest attempt to get the new £150million Sky TV deal over-the-line.
Rangers and Livingston have yet to give their backing to the proposed deal on the table from Sky Sports.
The Daily Mail report that Livi could be kingmakers in the deal, which will be further discussed next Tuesday.
An 11-1 majority is required to see a "qualified resolution" on the matter go through.
The deal originally had the support of 11 out of the 12 top flight clubs. Rangers failed to show their backing.
Talks last month saw a "qualified resolution" option arise, which would allow SPFL bosses to swerve Rangers' stance on the basis that it keeps that 11-1 majority.
With Livingston yet to back the deal though, talks will go ahead between SPFL clubs on Tuesday, September 27.
The proposed new deal will see Sky increase the number of games they can show from 48 to 60 per-season from the 2024/25 campaign.
Each team will also see the number of home games broadcasted boosted from four to five per season.
In return for the additional rights, Sky will increase annual payments to Prem clubs from £25million to £30million by the 2028/29 season.
Lower division sides are believed to be in favour of the deal.
