Rangers legend and East Kilbride native Ally McCoist has told supporters to make use of a National Lottery-funded scheme that allows fans to watch games live for free this weekend.
The former Rangers striker is a regular at Lowland League side East Kilbride's K-Park and he wants others to show support for lower league football.
Some sixth tier matches will be involved in the The National Lottery Football Weekends campaign, as will a selection of West of Scotland Football League games.
If a full paying customer comes to the game with a valid National Lottery ticket for this weekend, they will be allowed to bring a friend, who will get free entry.
Benburb v Largs Thistle, Blantyre Victoria v Irvine Meadow, Glenafton Athletic v Cumnock Juniors, Kilbirnie Ladeside v Darvel, Pollok v Hurlford United, Rutherglen Glencairn v Cumbernauld United and Auchinleck Talbot v Bonnyton are utilising the scheme on Saturday.
McCoist said: "In nearly every corner of the country you will find a football club which does much more than just kick a ball around on a Saturday afternoon.
"These clubs make a difference to so many in their community and they suffered perhaps more than any other part of our game during the pandemic.
"The support of National Lottery players has been crucial in helping them survive and now you can support them again, but this time from the terraces."
