The world of football has gathered around Andy Goram after the Rangers icon's cancer diagnosis.
Nicknamed 'The Goalie' during his playing days, the 58-year-old has helped Cambuslang Rangers as a coach this season in their title-winning West of Scotland Football League Conference B campaign.
Goram was part of Rangers' nine-in-a-row winning team and won five league titles, three Scottish Cups and two League Cups with the Light Blues.
He also turned out for Oldham, Motherwell, Hibs and Manchester United, among others.
Fellow Ibrox icon Barry Ferguson, speaking on Go Radio, says the former goalkeeper has his well-wishes: "Growing up a Rangers supporter he was certainly one of my heroes.
"Fantastic goalkeeper. Sad news, but listen, he is a fighter and I am sure everybody will echo what I have said and Rangers will do everything they can to try and help him out."
Oldham were quick to offer their support, saying: "As a club, we are sending our thoughts and well wishes to Andy and his family during this difficult time."
Camby co-managers Billy Campbell and Paul McColl have enjoyed working with the Govan hero, and their club have also offered a message of support.
They said in a statement: "Everyone at Cambuslang Rangers wish former goalkeeping coach, Andy Goram, the very best as he undergoes treatment."
Queen of the South were one club Goram represented towards the end of his career, and they said: "Everyone at Queen of the South sends our best wishes to our former goalkeeper Andy Goram at this time."
