Rangers legend Ally McCoist makes £3m after personal company rakes in £600,000

Ally McCoist 's personal company made almost £600,000 last year to boost its value to more than £3million.

The Rangers legend has posted a healthy set of accounts for the firm that channels his earnings.

RT 1872, named after the date the Ibrox club was founded, has total assets of £3,371,732.

It includes an investment portfolio worth £2,680,861, £264,299 owed by debtors and £426,572 held in a bank account.

The latest set of accounts submitted to C ompanies House also shows the firm made a profit of £587,602 in the 12 months up to November 30 last year.

McCoist works for ­Talksport and BT Sport and is currently working for ITV at the World Cup in Qatar.
