Former Rangers striker Kris Boyd reckons manager Philippe Clement will know his side must be more clinical.
Rangers were 1-0 winners against Dundee at Ibrox, with winger Vaclav Cerny scoring the decisive goal just after the restart.
Clement's team, who have leapfrogged stuttering Aberdeen into second in the Scottish Premiership table, had 21 shots during the match yet only four were on target.
Rangers got over the line to seal another valuable three points on this occasion, but Boyd is demanding an improvement to avoid any shock sucker punches going forward.

Philippe Clement confirms why Rangers' Jack Butland missed Dundee win
"I think it was important for Rangers to carry on with their league form and they were able to get the three points," he told Sky Sports News.
"But Philippe Clement will be disappointed with the amount of chances that they created and they failed to kill the game off earlier. They were holding on towards the end. There was a couple of opportunities for Dundee.
"The game should have really been out of sight. Obviously Cerny got the goal just after half-time, it was a great pass from Danilo through and Cerny goes around [Trevor] Carson and rolls it into the back of the net. But Philippe Clement will have been looking for a more convincing victory."
