JOHN LUNDSTRAM was linked with a possible Ibrox exit in January. Now, he's one of the first names on Giovanni van Bronckhorst's team-sheet.
It's been a remarkable turnaround for the battling midfielder who has gone from a supporting role to a key player for Rangers.
The Englishman has turned in a number of impressive performances in recent months - not least on the European stage - and has made himself a favourite amongst the Ibrox support.
And while reports were linking him with a possible quick-fire exit from Glasgow in the January transfer window, Lundstram insists he never considered leaving.
Asked about the transfer speculation on BT Sport, Lundstram explained: "That was never ever from my end the leaving part.
"That was never in my thoughts ever, not once, that was just speculation.
"Finding my feet was obviously what I wanted at the start of the season but it didn't quite happen.
"A couple of things here and there didn't quite go how I wanted.
"It's football, it happens, you take the highs and the lows all together.
"Thankfully now I've come out the other end and the team have come out the other end and we're doing well."
