Rangers have issued 26.7m new shares.
Companies House paperwork has confirmed the deal with 20p paid per share, totalling £5.34m.
The reason for the new shares, which were issued in February, is not yet clear.
Paperwork filed for Rangers International Football Clubs Plc on the Companies House on Monday, March 10 reveal 26,724,800 new shares have been issued.

The period in which the snares were allotted was between February 6 and February 26.
The nominal value of each shares is priced at 0.01 (1p) but the amount paid for the shares was at 0.2 (20p) per share.
The total cost for the near-27m shares, at the 20p price paid, is £5, 344, 960.
There are now 532,223,088 shares in the club in total.
It comes after 18m new shares were issued by the club last month.
