Michael Beale says Rangers won't use Nicolas Raskin or Leon King this weekend as the clock ticks down to a crunch derby clash with Celtic.
All eyes will be on this weekend's home clash with bottom Premiership club Dundee United but some in the fanbase may be casting eyes towards next Sunday, where Rangers go into a defining pre-split clash at Celtic Park. They currently trail the leaders by nine points although it could be six come close of play on Saturday, with Ange Postecoglou's champions not in action until the Sunday.
Boss Beale has provided an injury update ahead of the game, with Raskin set to get the weekend off after pulling out of Belgian youth duty with an injury. Young defender King is also set to sit out the United game with a view to having them available the following week while Ianis Hagi, John Souttar and Ridvan Yilmaz have also got work into their legs over the international break. Beale said: We'll be missing Raskin, he will be returning to training next week. Next week, Raskin and Leon King should be available so we will get two more bodies back.
"We have been working on different things in training. It has been a good two weeks for Hagi, Souttar and Ridvan to get volume in the legs."
