They have been linked with plenty of players across Europe and the 22-year-old midfielder is the latest tipped for a big move to Glasgow after a successful campaign at Rijeka.

Capped by Croatia at u21s level, Premier League side Wolves have also been linked to the battler who came through his club's academy, a place where is also from. He has said that there is now a case of a waiting game with regards to what happens with his future. Victories over Aberdeen and Hibs in Europa League qualifying have already brought him Scottish success but he needs to figure out if a chance to crack the domestic game presents itself.

Lepinjica told the Daily Record : "I won't think too much about leaving until a concrete offer comes in. I am focused on my preparations for the new season.

"At the beginning of every new season, I always go into it with an ambition to make this 'my season.' Whoever I play for, I hope this will be the case.

"Which league would I prefer to play in? Every one of the big five European leagues are great competitions, but we will see."

101 appearances have been made by Lepinjica at Rijeka and last term he appeared 31 times. So far, Rangers have only signed defender John Souttar from Hearts.
